- Keys: Slides template delivers content and cooperative assignment for two students that includes individual work, cooperation and individual final product.
- Students work in pairs on a shared Google Slide Show. Each takes notes independently, then they collaborate on Venn Diagram of notes and finally write their own summary.

- This quiz centered classroom protocol relies on the Quizizz Web based software.
- The protocol suggests repeated use of short quizzes on a schedule like this.
- Quizizz is very similar to Kahoot, but is somewhat less competitive and more focused on providing useful data on the achievement of individual students and the overall class.
- Quizizz sessions serve as effective formative assessments that can immediately inform class instruction and identify specific student weaknesses.

Media Literacy Protocol
- Summary: Based on a current event.
- Teacher provides basic background information on a current news event
- Two Newspaper headlines are examined for the the same story
- One Headline to the right another to the left (e.g. Washington Times and NY Times)
- Students compare and contrast the two headlines
- Note areas of emphasis for each, Note disagreement.
- Students draft their own moderate headline for the same story.
