Self Navigating Technology Resources for Students and Teachers Alike

Founded in 1996, the Tiger Woods Foundation (TGR Foundation) champions breakthrough transformations and equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in school and beyond.

“We have humble beginnings and a universal vision: giving students in need the right resources for lifelong success in school, their communities and the working world. We don’t allow our students to exist with the labels or restrictions or stigmas. We empower them to exceed any and all expectations.” -TGR Foundation

The foundation uses award-winning STEM curricula, college-access programs and teacher professional development, to deliver underserved students the tools and support needed to thrive in school and beyond.

To further support rigorous academic success, the foundation launched TGR EDU: Explore, a blend of Curriculum, Family supports and strategies, and Virtual field trips. The field trips are a partnership with Discovery Education and Facebook, and it allows students to investigate software and infrastructure engineering, product design and data security, while relating back to classroom successes and engaging career paths. Through the Digital Experiences portal, high school aged students can take a virtual tour of a college and play Financial Pursuit, while middle school students can explore Following Nature’s Lead, a biomimicry and innovation through the underseas wold of Marine Biology with a digital exploration on squid dissection. There are numerous grade 6-12 lesson plans detailed out by following https://www.tgreduexplore.org/curriculum/lessons#stem.

In this day and age of families looking for advantages to help students realize their dreams of attending higher education institutions, the TGR Foundation, along with the collaborative work with Facebook and Discovery Education, have shown that there is an additional source for student enlightenment.
